- N.B.: From 1977-1989, Dr. Lubchenco worked part-time, by choice, so she could spend more time with her two young sons. She held a 0.5 FTE tenure-track, then tenured appointment for ten years, then a 0.75 appointment for two years; in 1989, she returned to full-time.
